The Ultimaker Air Manager Replacement Filter is an in-built particulate filter that catches up to 95% of ultrafine particles. This is a replacement part for the Ultimaker S5 Air Manager.

The filter should be replaced every 1,500 printing hours to maintain proper filtering. The printer keeps track of the filter usage time and will alert you when replacement is due.

To replace the filter in the Air Manager, go to Preferences → Maintenance → Air Manager filter → Replace and follow the steps on the touchscreen.

Compatible with both the Ultimaker S5 and Ultimaker S7

Ultimaker Cleaning Filament

Using the Ultimaker cleaning filament is the most effective way to unclog and keep print cores in optimal condition.

When to use the Ultimaker cleaning filament
The Ultimaker cleaning filament is used for both print core maintenance and unclogging procedures. We recommend performing regular maintenance once every three months. Unclog the print core if there is no material extruding from the nozzle for at least ten minutes.

How to use the Ultimaker cleaning filament
This filament can be used to clean both the Ultimaker S5 and S7, Ultimaker 3 print core by applying hot and cold pulls. Hot pulls are used to get the biggest parts of carbonized material out of the print core and are highly recommended when the print core is clogged. With a cold pull, the remaining small particles will be removed, ensuring the print core is completely clean.

For detailed instructions on how to clean a print core with the Ultimaker cleaning filament, take a look at this page for the Ultimaker S5 and S7 and this page for the Ultimaker 3.
