The Bambu Texture PEI Plate’s endurance has been improved as a result of process optimisation. Furthermore, the prints’ and the plate’s great improvement in stickiness renders adhesives unnecessary.
*Glue is sometimes necessary for highly specialised filaments.

Because PEI can resist the repeated heating and cooling cycles of a printer heatbed, it is a great material for 3D printing applications. We always advise waiting until the heatbed hits 35°C or lower because prints are easy to remove once it reaches room temperature. Bend the steel plate if the print is still adhered to it, and the model will drop into your hands.

PEI enables it to print materials that demand high temperatures, such as ABS and Nylon, in addition to more widely used materials like PLA, TPU, and PETG.

Prevent warping with reliable magnetic adhesion

The stainless steel plate on the Bambu Texture PEI Plate is 0.5 mm thick, which improved magnetic adherence. This lessens the possibility of the first layer coming loose owing to distortion and helps to prevent warping while ensuring the best print quality during 3D printing. Additionally, it is useful when printing larger models in warp-prone materials like ABS, PC, and Nylon.

First-layer surface offered by Bambu Texture PEI Plate is unique. This PEI Build Plate adds texture to your prints by using a powder-coating method to give it a tough appearance.

Step 1: The plate should be positioned such that its name is facing you and it is in line with the platform’s fixed points.

Step 2: Lower and secure the plate to the magnetic platform.

    • To prevent poor print quality, the Automatic Calibration for Flow Rate on Textured PEI Plate is not supported, and we do not advise doing the Flow Calibration on it. Bad calibration results can occur from the texture of the plate interfering with the LIDAR calibration.


    • Due to the print surface’s texture, the Textured PEI Plate does not enable First Layer Inspection either.


    • It is not advised to use the Automatic Calibration for Flow Rate because the calibration may suffer as a result of the LIDAR’s inability to read the print surface accurately.


    • To prevent poor adhesion, regularly wipe the print surface with hot water and dish soap to remove any dust or oil buildup. Although IPA can be effective, washing the plate is the best way to clean it for the optimum results.


    • Acetone shouldn’t be used to clean textured PEI because it will harm the surface.


    • Never remove printed models before waiting a few minutes for the plate to cool down and become easier to remove prints from. This guards against plate damage and guarantees a long product lifetime.


    • The High-temp smooth PEI plate is a consumable component that will deteriorate with time. Only manufacturing flaws, not superficial flaws like scratches, dents, or cracks, are covered by the guarantee. The warranty only applies to sheets that are broken when they arrive.
