Bambu Lab AMS Hub


The AMS Hub is used to increase the number of AMS linked to Bambu X1/P1 series printers from a minimum of one AMS unit (four channels) to a maximum of four AMS units (sixteen channels), improving the refuelling speed among your numerous AMS units and supporting the redundancy of a buffered signal.

The printer’s built-in buffer can only be connected to one AMS. When the AMS Hub is installed, the printer can connect to up to four AMS.

What's Included

  • Use the corresponding Bambu 4 Pin cable to connect to the printer, the Bambu 6 Pin cable to connect to the first AMS, and then continue using the 6-pin cable to link the other AMS in series. Install the Bambu Lab AMS Hub on the back of the printer, replacing the Filament buffer if you have one, and then use the matching Bambu 4 Pin cable to connect to the printer.
  • To reduce resistance, connect the Bambu Lab AMS Hub and the air tube connector on the rear of the printer using the appropriate PTFE tubing. The tube should pass between the 4-pin plug and the spool holder.
  • You can select the proper length of the PTFE tubing to link the AMS and the AMS Hub based on where the AMS and the printer will be placed. To lower the feeding resistance, the tube should be as short as feasible and should not be wound.
