Why Formlabs ESD Resin?
Formlabs ESD Resin increases the yield and reduces risk on your manufacturing line by 3D Printing jigs, fixtures and custom tools in industries such as automotive, electronics manufacturing and aerospace. To prevent component failure, use this resin to protect vital electronics within your models from unregulated static discharge. This resin has high toughness and with high impact strength, it is made to withstand production-line operation.
Applications
Formlabs ESD resin is essential for static-dissipative parts that have been designed to be used on the factory floor. This resin is perfect for custom trays used to handle and store components, anti-static end use and prototype components and tooling for electronics manufacture.
Post-processing
This resin can be post-processed using the Formlabs Wash & Formlabs Cure. Wash for 20 minutes in IPA or TPM. Do not leave these parts in solvent for longer than 20 minutes as solvent exposure can effect the quality and finish of the final part. To avoid staining, it is recommended that ESD is washed separately to other resins. Cure parts for 60 minutes at a temperature of 70°C and follow the post-curing indications to achieve maximum material properties.
