The Ultimaker 3 Extended is best suited for professional 3D printing, with complete design freedom and reliable dual extrusion. It is the latest version of the popular 3D printer “Ultimaker 3” and has the same specifications as that but it has an extra height of 10cm as compared to Ultimaker 3. It comes with dual extrusion, heated build platform, and it also has high-quality resolution and is capable of printing up to 20 microns.
The Ultimaker 3 Extended has dual extrusion to print your 3D designs, similarly, it supports both PLA, ABS, PVA and is opensource so you can print nearly every filament on the market through this machine. The Ultimaker 3 Extended prints at a speed of 300 mm/s. to ensure a smooth, professional finish of every print, it’s auto nozzle-lifting system plays an important part in ensuring surface finish.
Convenient to use:
The Ultimaker 3 Extended has many user friendly features like auto bed levelling, Wi-fi connectivity, and on board camera to help the user in monitoring their print without having to be next to the printer.
Low-noise cooling fans:
Because of its low-noise fan system, Ultimaker 3 Extended ensures high-quality bridging, better cooling, faster and smooth prints. For an improved airflow, two new radial fans and fan shrouds create greater pressure build-up while staying below 50Db.
Switchable print cores:
Traditionally swapping print heads is a 20 minute job on most 3D printers. The Ultimaker range of printers can switch heads with a snap in/ snap out head meaning changing between materials & printing specifications couldn’t be any quicker. It has swappable print cores i.e. AA for build and BB for water-soluble support materials.
This Ultimaker Printer has LED lights giving you the best possible view of your 3D print, especially when viewed through the camera.
Range of materials:
Ultimaker 3 supports a huge range of materials to achieve superior results and its optimised Ultimaker Cura software has the best print settings per material. It also recognises which print core and material you are using. Furthermore, you can experiment with all kinds of materials through its open filament system.
For single nozzle prints, it can print up to 215 × 215 × 300mm and for dual nozzle prints, it can print up to 197 × 215 × 300mm offering excellent value for money.
