Formlabs Grey Pro Resin

 

Grey Pro Resin is an Engineering Resin designed for high precision, moderate elongation, and low creep. These mechanical properties make Grey Pro Resin a versatile material for a wide range of engineering applications, including concept modelling and functional prototyping.

Resin Tank LT (Form 2) or Resin Tank V.2 (Form 3) are required for printing with Rigid 10k Resin.

Strong

Grey Pro Resin has a tensile strength of 61 MPA, this degree of strength is the same as the Formlabs Standard Resins however with Grey Pro Resin it has a greater elongation at break point. Meaning it is less brittle than the Formlabs Standard range of Resins

Durable

Grey Pro Resin is a strong and relatively resilient material. It can absorb impact forces, deflect when under stress and maintain its structural integrity when exposed to heat. Overall making it a durable material.

Resistant to Creep

With a 77.5 °C  @ 0.45 MPa heat deflection temperature and a low thermal expansion coefficient, Grey Pro Resin is resistant to failing from being exposed changing temperatures.

Smooth Surface Finish

Using Grey Pro Resin produces accurate components which will meet your design tolerances. Grey Pro Resin also produces parts with a smooth finish, giving any design a visually pleasing aesthetic.

Stability over time

Grey Pro Resin is a very stable material. It is resistant to degrading when exposed to harsh condition for prolonged periods of time. Examples of these conditions could be intense light, moisture or UV light.

Grey Pro Resin is commonly used for: Stimulating injection moulded parts, engineering applications and functional prototyping.
