PVA

A water soluble material used for support structures

PVA is a non-toxic, odourless polymer that is strong enough to support heavy overhangs in the printing process. Use PVA to create more complex geometries in your final print. Dissolve the material in water to easily remove it.

Technical Datasheet

Uses:

  • Support Structures

PET-CF

Engineering-grade filament for high-strength uses

PET-CF produces strong, stiff and dimensionally stable parts. It has a low moisture absorption, a fine surface finish and is heat resistant up to 100 degrees. This material is ideal for industrial uses and end-use parts

Technical Datasheet

Uses:

  • Industrial use
  • Functional, end-use parts

BVOH

More Reliable Water Soluble Support Material

BVOH is a water soluble structure that has been specially designed by Bigrep. It is designed to minimise post-processing as it is easily dissolved away. It has been optimised for improved melt flow, eliminating concerns of hotend clogging that often comes with other soluble materials

Uses:

  • Support Structures

PRO HT

High Temperature Resistance

PRO HT has a temperature resistance up to 115, it remains dimensionally stable up to this temperature, with minimal warpage. Other properties include; food safe, biodegradable, matte finish and easy printing

Technical Datasheet

Uses:

  • High temp end use parts

HI-TEMP

Highest Temperature Resistance

The filament is resistant to temperature up to 160 degrees, it remains dimensionally stable with minimal warpage. It is biodegradable, CO2 neutral and environmentally friendly. It is food safe and up to EU standards.

Technical Datasheet

Uses:

  • Electrical casings
  • Jigs and fixtures

TPU

Flexible Materials with Engineering Properties

TPU is a flexible material with good mechanical properties. It is strong enough to be used for high demand products (skateboard wheels, sport shoes)  but it’s ‘soft to touch’ properties make it suitable for item such as; door handles, knobs etc.

Technical Datasheet

Uses:

  • Ergonomic items (grips etc.)
  • High wear items (skateboard wheels)

PA6/66

Lightweight and Rigid

PA6/66 is a highly durable filament for industrial applications. The material is rigid, lightweight and resistance to heat and chemicals. The material is also compatible with post-machining.

Technical Datasheet

Uses:

  • Automotive or Aerospace

PLX

PLA-derived Filament with Advanced Properties

PLX is a general-use biodegradable material that produces robust parts. It can print up to 80% faster than PLA with no modifications to the printer. PLX can produce consistent parts that out preform ABS.

Technical Datasheet

Uses:

  • Surgical Guides

ABS

Versatile and Impact Resistant

ABS produces a wide variety of products. Bigrep has been optimised for large-format printing of complex, ready to use parts including end-use factory tooling and functional porotypes. ABS is strong, resistant to heat and easy to post process.

Technical Datasheet

Uses:

  • White goods
  • Consumer appliances

ASA

Weather and UV resistant

ASA is an engineering grade material that is suitable to be sued in exposed environments. ASA is a strong material with good mechanical properties, low shrinkage and superior layer adhesion.

Technical Datasheet

Uses:

  • Outdoor Use

PLA

Affordable and Versatile

PLA is an inexpensive material with relatively good mechanical properties. It has a wide range of useful properties making it ideal for most non-demanding uses, such as; food safe, environmentally safe and low warpage.

Technical Datasheet

Uses:

  • Functional prototypes

PETG

Durable and Impact Resistant

PETG is versatile material that is easy to print. It has good layer adhesion, reliable to print and prints at high speeds. The prints produced at mechanically strong, thermal resistant and have a good finish.
